Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the Scientific-Educational Center of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, a meeting was held on October 23 of this year at the Scientific-Educational Center of the NSS with Academician of the NAS RA, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and prominent Turkologist Ruben Safrastyan.

During the meeting, the academician delivered a talk-lecture on the topic “Recent Geopolitical Developments and Their Impact on the Region.”

The event was attended by the listeners and lecturers of the Scientific-Educational Center, as well as employees from other departments of the Service.

The meeting was conducted in a lively and engaging format, with active discussions and Question-and-answer format.
