On November 25, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia hosted Mkrtich Tumanyan, Head of the Department of Natural Sciences of the Iranian Academy of Sciences and Foreign Member of the NAS RA.

During the meeting, the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two academies in 2023 was discussed. Mr. Tumanyan emphasized that the Institute of Oriental Studies can serve as a bridge between the scientific institutions of Armenia and Iran.

Acting Director of the Institute, Gohar Iskandaryan, noted that the cooperation "road map" developed within the framework of this partnership will foster deeper collaboration in various scientific fields between the two countries
