From February 3 to 14, 2025, the British Council in Armenia launched the "Researcher Connect" professional development course, which was held online for the first time in the country. This program is part of the British Council’s global initiative aimed at helping researchers enhance their communication skills in international, interdisciplinary, and multicultural contexts.
Out of nearly 100 applicants, 25 researchers were competitively chosen to participate, representing more than 10 higher education and research institutions in Armenia. The course is designed to improve the clarity and impact of research communication, which contributes to more effective engagement with policymakers, educators, and the general public. It also aims to increase the global visibility of national research outputs.
Among the participants were two representatives from the Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS RA Dr. Nazeli Navasardyan, Senior Researcher in the Department of International Relations, and Hrachuhi Turvandyan, Senior Assistant in the Department of Arabic Countries.
Their participation reflects the Institute’s ongoing commitment to fostering international academic cooperation and advancing the professional development of its researchers.
