On April 10, 2025, we would have celebrated the 55th birthday of our dear colleague, historian and devoted scholar, Dr. Artak Movsisyan, leading researcher of the Department of Ancient Near East at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

He was the author of numerous articles related to the ancient period of Armenian history, around twenty monographs, films dedicated to various issues of Armenian history, as well as numerous broadcasts, textbooks, and publications. His scholarly legacy will live on in the memories of his contemporaries, students, and future researchers.
