
On June 30 of this year, a scientific discussion was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies' Department of Turkish Studies on the topic "Iran-Turkey Competitive Policy in the South Caucasus: Risks and Opportunities." The areas and problems of Turkey-Iran competitive policy in the South Caucasus, as well as their impact on regional security, have been discussed. The workshop was organized on a research topic funded by the YSSP's "Research Competition in the Fields of Social Sciences, Armenian Studies, and Humanities" program (Program participants: junior researcher at the Department of Turkish Studies V. Torosyan and senior assistant at the Department of Iranian Studies A. Gevorgyan). Participants in the scientific discussion included researchers from the Institute of Oriental Studies, Yerevan State University, Armenian-Russian University, and the "Orbeli" Research Center.
