On May 27, 2026, the Institute of Oriental Studies SNCO hosted Georgia Nicolini, Account Manager for Research Intelligence Solutions for Eastern Europe at Elsevier, who represents the company’s research analytical solutions in Armenia. During the meeting, discussions focused on the visibility and representation of the Institute of Oriental Studies’ institutional affiliation in the Scopus scientometric database, as well as the research analytical services and tools offered by Elsevier. The participants also addressed several ongoing issues related to the international representation of scientific activity and the enhancement of the visibility of the Institute’s research outputs. The meeting was aimed at expanding the international visibility of the Institute of Oriental Studies’ scientific results, improving its institutional representation on the Scopus platform, and ensuring more effective presentation of its research activities within the international scientific community.
