
The Institute of Oriental Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA) is pleased to announce that four research proposals submitted within the framework of the “Promoting the Efficiency of Scientific Research -2025” Grant Program competition have been approved for funding.
This competitive program, announced by the Higher Education and Science Committee, requires the mandatory involvement of an international research partner, fostering international scientific collaboration. The funding for the approved projects has been confirmed by an official order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
As a result of the competition, the following applications are guaranteed funding:

The foreign partner of the Project is Ilya Yakubovich, Ph.D. (University of Chicago), Dr.Habil. (Moscow State University), who holds a research appointment in the Department of Comparative Philology at the University of Marburg.

Security issues of North African Arab countries in the context of regional conflicts.
The foreign partner of the Project is Vasiliy Kuznetsov. Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, PHD of Historical Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences
