
Levon Hovsepyan, PhD in Political Science and Associate Professor, Head of the Turkey Department at the NAS RA Institute of Oriental Studies, participated from October 23 to 26 of this year in Austria (Reichenau/Rax) at the invitation of the Austrian National Defence Academy in the 30th Workshop of the “Regional Stability in the South Caucasus Research Group” under the Consortium for Partnership for Peace, titled “Today and Tomorrow: Perspectives for Peace and the Traps of Developing Technologies.”
As an invited speaker, he delivered a presentation entitled “Existential Security, Conflict, and Post-War Peace Perspectives in the South Caucasus,” in which he addressed Azerbaijan’s existential security challenges and, in this context, analyzed the features and strategies of the political discourse of Azerbaijan’s ruling elite following the trilateral declaration signed in Washington on August 8, 2025.
