The journal “Bulletin of the Institute of Oriental Studies” is preparing a special issue dedicated to the memory of the distinguished Iranologist, historian, and diplomat Vahan Bayburdyan. This special issue aims to address thematic areas related to Bayburdyan’s research interests and scholarly legacy.

Researchers are invited to submit articles on the following main thematic directions:

• History of Iran
• Iran’s foreign policy and regional processes
• Historical and interstate Armenian-Iranian relations
• History of Armenian diaspora communities in Iran and Armenian commercial activity
• Other topics related to Vahan Bayburdyan’s scholarly legacy, as well as broader issues in the field of Iranology

Submitted articles must comply with the formatting and technical requirements of the Bulletin of the Institute of Oriental Studies and will be subject to peer review.
